now shared
finding the mask
of the inner self
inner core
man child spirit
i am humbled, holding such treasure
honored in the presence of greatness
moved by poetic genius
silenced in awe.

such bitersweet joy and sorrow.
You could've been the friend
I never knew I wanted
the soulmate never met,
hands that never touched.
