Love
We have tasted each other,
but are afraid to take another bite
because the first was so hard to distinguish.

It has the sweetness of ecstasy
mixed with the bitter of denial.

It looks like cocaine
leaving you blind with lust,
unable to see anything else.

It smells as a rotting carcass,
a stench of fear that builds greater and greater
as you get closer to its source.

It feels...

For the first time knowing
what it is to touch someone,
and be touched back.

Touch is meaningless without feel.

It is...

I am....

We are...

LOVE
