If They Could Only See You
If they could only see you dancing,
They would see just how normal you are.
If they could only see you laughing,
They would see the joy you spread from afar.
If they could only see you working,
They would see how hard you try.
If they could only see you playing,
They would not have to wonder why.
If they could only see you striving,
They would appreciate the effort it takes to succeed.
If they could only see you achieving,
They would gaing a hope of which they could not read.
If they could only see you loving,
They would love you all the more.
If they could only see you living,
They would see what all this effort is for.
