Stephen Boyer

Photography has been an integral part of Stephen's life for 23 years. "I bought my first camera at age 12 using funds earned shooting black and white portraits of prizewinning sheep at the Olmsted County Fair. Three years of printing enlargements at the local photo lab paid for my first years in college. Photography also provided a much needed artistic outlet in college and a counterpoint to the rigidity of engineering school. After college, my photography evolved into a form of meditation, an escape from the stressors of professional life. In 1997, I started spending 8 to 12 weeks a year travelling on self-assignments. And in 2000, I “retired” from my corporate career, allowing me to finally put my photography at the center of my life."

Perspective - Pill
In some ways that is a tall order when creating an image of somebody sticking their tongue out.
